| Axe and I started from the 16,700 ft camp and made it to half a pitch below the top of the wall before altitude and time got to us. We rapped 5 x 60m leaving 5 pickets. The last two raps were with rockfall whizzing past us. A great experience with both the climb and the 6 day trek. Better altitude conditioning would of helped us. (I blame russki82 for attempting this climb because of his excellent mountain and route pages--thanks!) | |

| Only climbed the face up to the saddle due to late start. Rapped the entire face, which took 5 pickets. Even so, it's one hell of a day with the walk-out into Aguas Calientes. | |
