| I found out that the highpoint of Franklin County was nearby so I decided to climb it. It was late September so the fall colors were at their best. I drove from Logan Canyon into Egan Basin and started from there. It is a short hike but the views of Bear Lake are quite nice. | |

| I came in from Preston Idaho and exited to the south into Utah. The hike itself was relatively short but the high spot was kind of fun with nice views, particularly that of Bear Lake. | |

| Got up about 4:00 to make it for sunrise but barely missed it. Made it to the top at about 6:00 AM. We came from Preston and up Hillyards Canyon. Great View! Great Mountain! | |
