| This track for me is the one I always choose if leading a group of competent walkers as its steadily climbs, unlike the Miners and isn't as long as the other main three routes. It has a bit of variation on the way rather than just a flat&even incline. Of course being the easiest route to Crib Goch makes it a must. For some reason I always find it longer than expected when using it as a decent route?? | |

| My route of choice would be over Crib Goch, but I used this path during the first part of a "Three Peaks Challenge." After this we went up Scaffel Pike, followed by Ben Nevis. A bloody long day!! N | |
