| A perfect-sized crack for me without my backpack. Remarkably secure climbing for such horrid rock. Trip report. | ||

| Solo climb to the summit of Coffeepot and Teakettle. Nice short summit pitch, long and loose approach/descend. | ||

| Brian C | Nice addition... | |
| ...after Teakettle. The chimney is short and easy (5.nadda). Soloed up and rapped off. Be careful not to knock the loose stuff down on your buddy in the chimney below you! My wife was less than impressed with the few things I sent down and the lack of room to dodge. Oops! :) | ||

| ... but loved Coffeepot. Too bad the chimney wasn't any longer, but still worth the scree slog to get up there. Great views of Teakettle. | ||

| Wasn't able to hit Coffeepot on my first visit up here, so Dominic and Sarah obliged me with a repeat after we did the north couloir on Potosi. Nice little chimney climb. | ||

| 9/1/07 - Nabbed this strange little peak on my 2nd trip to climb nearby Teakettle. Ran into chicagotransplant, shanahan96, skasgaard & company in the vicinity. Took the standard crack route. The weather cooperated long enough to make a quick climb up impressive Potosi afterwards. 5/9/09 - Nice little consolation prize when snow conditions shut us out of Potosi's North Couloir. The short 5th class pitch seemed so much easier this time despite my big boots. 6/11/10 - Dessert after climbing Potosi's North Couloir. My first lead :) | ||

| make sure to do it first, so you can throw pebbles at your friends while they're wedged in the crack, unable to return fire | ||

| added coffeepot to the teakettle outing. not a long climb(15-20 feet) by any stretch, but it was a challenging lead(5.5) for me. jamie and mike climbed a line deeper in the crack and found easier climbing, somewhere in the 5.3 range. a fun add-on to a great experience! jamie | ||

| Super short climb up a fairly wide crack. Solid rock for counter-pressure (wiggle-room) to the exceedingly small summit. Placed one piece of pro. A little tricky getting out of the crack but no big deal. Quick rap. They should call this "Coffee grounds" Was kinda surprised at how black the 'sand/rock' was at the base. Same people as with Teakettle. | ||
