zodisFort William  Sucess!

A small, friendly town that serves well as a base. Was there in the early 80's and again a couple of years ago.

Outdoorgirl_caCan't wait to come back  Sucess!

Had the opportunity to explore Fort Williams, climb Ben Nevis and check out Skye. Had great weather almost the whole time. The midges weren't too bad either. They went after my friend, I guess he's sweeter than I am.

I can't wait to come back to try the mountain biking.

ProterraRe: 1972 visit

They're called "Midges" William, and if it weren't for them, the place would be more overrun by tourists during high season than it already is... :P

Cheers, Clint.

William Marler1972 visit  Sucess!
Date Climbed: Aug 24, 1972

Paid a visit in 1972 backpacking through Scotland. I remember the tiny flies that would eat you alive, a monastry, fog rain but not much else.
