| great route, fantastic summit views. was surprised at how much easier the climb up the great break was - lots of great handholds the entire way. descended into the large basin north of the summit towards Lake Josephine; stay above the treeline and head north towards the Many Glacier Hotel for as long as possible! i headed down far too early and found myself climbing down near waterfalls and bushwhacking through dense alder thickets. glad to get out of that mess and back on the Josephine horse trail! |
