| I've hiked this peak several times with each one being unique and memorable. One such time left rmick and myself atop the summit at early morn. napping in the warm sunlight. A classic for any hiker/climber in the Missoula area. | |

| I can't remember how many times I've climbed this peak - funny that I never signed the Climbers' Log. This time there was plenty of snow which forced Class 3 climbing on the exposed rock on Lolo-North's east ridge. To make things more interesting I climbed Point 8694 on the way to both Lolo summits. | |

| Topped out on Lolo before heading south and completing the ridge traverse to Sweeney Peak. Still enough snow for some skiers to be out. | |

| A popular Missoula area peak and this day was no exception with many out on the mountain. August 29, 2004. A second outing where I went up Peak 8694 and then straight up Lolo's north face. A nice variation from the standard route. | |
