| 10jun09 - Used this summit as an early-season get-in-shape climb. Good weather and great views always make this summit a nice place to visit.
3jun08 - Decided to see just how much snow there was up high after our very snowy Bitterroot Winter. There was still a lot. Close to the summit there were drifts over 20' deep. Saw several elk cows, prints from mule deer, and a squirrel above snow line.
October 2006 - Climbed just to see what damage had been caused by the summer's Gash Creek Fire. Not too bad.
July 2006 - As it had rained fairly heavily the night before, bushwhacking up this route provided us with very wet legs and feet. The humidity kept the rest of our bodies wet with sweat! |
