| A day hike along the Desert Divide. Did Pyramid, Lion, and got stuck in the bushes trying to get to Pine. I checked out Cedar Springs and came home with two ticks stuck to me. Now I have a big rash on my leg where one of the ticks were - I hope it's not Lyme Disease. | |

| ...but there was lots of beautiful frozen virgin snow to trapse across! Love breakin' trail on the Desert Divide! Ascent was simple except the fallen tree limbo act in the forest; I actually had to contemplate what to do in the event I fell victim to toppling timbers....I ran! Brought snow shoes but never wore them; snow was frozen until early afternoon and by then I was too lazy to put them on. Appears to be about a new foot of snow since last week....at 7000' anyway. | |
