| After a month of sport climbing in Mexico and not touching steep ice for more than a year, this made for a nice warm-up for a couple of months in Canmore. Took the left line (WI4). There was a bail thread low on the pitch. Conditions were good but windy. Lots of weird wind-blown features on the start and kind of thinky for the grade. | |

| Incredible 2nd day out on a week long trip. Enjoying both Jayson’s and Blair’s company. Could not think of two better dudes to climb with. A bit cold I must say for a morning climb….would have been better to chill out for a few hours in the morning….was sure glad to climb in the North Ghost on day 3. Experts is a magnificent line, not as difficult as other WI 6’s I have been on, but a full on fight just the same. SIX DAYS STRAIGHT OF ICE CLIMBING! | |
