| With Steve and Jackie...what a cold day for much of anything else, yet we salvaged it in Calico Hills....Great Red Book froze my fingers hard in that 2nd pitch lead. It does not get sun until afternoon in January. The long sport routes to the east get tons of sun however and warmed us right up. Hunter S. Thompson Dome was our 3rd stop of the day and starts to lose the sun around 3:30pm say....but the rock was hit pretty good if the sun was out so will stay warm. Those new sport routes seem real soft for the grade. Look forward to getting on those mixed routes next. |
