| Adam and I did Diablo from the north side, it was a 15 mile day. Scrambled up this Devils Pulpit thing to the summit I put up pics here | |

| Drove up then did a trail run loop that also included North Peak and Diablo. Smog obscured the views to the central valley. | ||

| Relatively new to climbing with hands. This was a fun place to play around for a bit while visiting diablo and practice scrambling up a fun little rock. The chert is really tactile too, chert is a great rock! A little girl saw us climbing around and insisted her non-amused daddy climb the rock too. Looks like there is some more good scrambling underneath it, would be fun to come up from underneath. | |

| We hiked up from Mitchell Canyon in the morning. Ben and I decided to ascend the final approach via Devils Pulpit, while Rad and Al hiked up the road. We beat them. | |

| I parked at the Devils Elbow and hiked first up to Mt. Diablo's summit then followed the Fire Intepretive Trail around to the Devils Pulpit. After climbing it I found a use trail that cut back down to the Devils Elbow. Loved the lichen encrusted rock formations in the area and the abundant wildflowers and amazing views. | |

| Saw this little fun crag from the top of Diablo and had to know what the view was like on it. Very fun bouldering crag. | |
