Part of the Devil's Path Backpack done this week end. I will always remember the white sandy trail.

Climbed with Plateau and Sugarloaf via the Devil's Path from Elka Park Road. It was rough going from the Sugarloaf col to Twin's rocky summit but the views made it worth it. We'll have to vist the south summit when we return to tackle Indian Head. A fun fall hike indeed.

Starting from Pecoy Notch. Began to rain almost near the summit. That climb is not so much fun in the rain. Continued on to Indian Head from there, and returned to Pecoy Notch. It's even more difficult descending when the rock is wet, post rainstorm.

Amazing views on the way back when the weather cleared.

started from prediger with the temp at about zero. the views from both peaks were fantastic but the intense wind kept me from lingering for too long.

unless you have a day with no views, Twin is a good peak to visit on the Devil's Path.
