| Jim and I hiked to the Holloway Lake on the 10th, set up camp and climbed the Buttes. During our return to the trailhead, we climbed Sweeney Peak along its west ridge just to make the day more interesting. | |

| My son Frank and I hiked/snowshoed up to Holloway Lake day before then climbed to summit in morning. Ascended one of the short couloirs to west of summit then along easy ridge crest to top. Fabulous views on this particular morning. | |

| Summited with zero beta. Almost had to sack the attempt, but luck prevailed and the northwest couloir proved to be good. Another great day out. | |
