This is my favorite route up Baldy and have done it every month over the course of the year in all kinds of weather. Will never get tired of this classic climb.

MtnLdr1st Time on Baldy  Sucess!
Date Climbed: Jul 27, 2008

Got stuck behind a group of five that were 1) Not speaking any english, and 2) did not seem to want to let anyone get past them! Otherwise, a beautiful day, and a great trail. I have heard about the ski hut over and over, but I never imagined how beautiful it would be!

Hiked up to Ski Hut from Mankers Flat and up to Mount Baldy on a nice and warm day in June. Quite cold and windy on the summit.
