| Hiked all around the canyon late in the season of 2005 hitting all the waterfalls and lookouts. Camped at the Canyon campground nearby and heard bugling elk throughout the night and a howling coyote about 50 feet from our tent early in the morning. If I had only had my camera ready. Also summited Mt. Washburn back in 2001 which provides an interesting perspective of the canyon gorge from above. | |
