| On a marvelous day late October we did the following, very recommendable round trip: Ziarska chata - Banikov - Rohacske pleso - Smutne sedlo - Placlivy Rohac - Ziarska chata. Early morning near the hut we also managed to meet an otter rushing down the small stream. It was a perfect day, the Western Tatras are fantastic! | |

| I spend two wonderfull fall days in Western Tatras with my brother and father. We ascended all the peaks above the Ziarska valley. First day we ascended Prislop, Banikov, Hruba kopa and Tri kopy with the descend from the Smutne saddle to the Ziarska chalet. | |
