| Climbed initially wet quartzite up to the ridge, but weather improved, clouds lifted and the rock dried up (luckily). Quartzite is as slick as ice when wet. 12 hours return to hut (0.5 hours on summit), estimate 8-10 hours under perfect conditions with a strong team. | |
