| on a 3-week hiking trip through the eastern Hohe Tauern Martin and I were stuck at Reisseck hut in bad weather. After two days of waiting Martin lost patience and left for home. Next day rain stopped and I could at least climb Hohe Leier on the normal route, all along in fog, quite difficult to find the next cairn. After another day of waiting I finally could proceed my trip to Arthur-von-Schmid-Haus. | |

| Nice and interesting Via ferrata. Once you've negotiated the tricky entry section, you can enjoy the rest of the route laid-back. | |

| Clear sky and only little wind. Climbed the via ferrata route in two hours. It is a rather long route, but there are many sections with very good climbing. Continued to Hochkedl making this a nice hard and long day. | |
