| 24aug09 - Climbed this summit with my friend Jim during the descent from our attempt at South Chaffin Peak.
9sep08 - Set up camp in the Chaffin High Lakes area, then climbed Chaffin Point. The next day I climbed West Chaffin Peak and made an attempt at South Chaffin. The exposed route to the summit of South Chaffin was covered with scattered snow and ice making the route too dangerous. I'll have to return for South Chaffin sometime when the route is dry. |
