| Cake Walk to the summits. The trail from Millbrook road was hardly the workout we were hoping for but instead a nice easy enjoyable hike. We flew over to Graham first along the well defined herd path. We had to climb up on the stucture to get the view but it was worth it.Then back to Balsam lake Mt. Took us maybe 45 minutes between the 2. BL Firetower was locked but I still got the eyecandy from the top stairs .an enchanted feeling around the summit and in the forest here. Just a nice half day hike..JW | |

| Part of a backpack. My first time to this forested over summit so I climbed the firetower for the views. No stairs here so I climbed up the metal struts to the first landing. | |

| Easy going up hard coming down, i recommend the dry Brooke ridge trial going up, more enjoyable, failed to top out on graham this day, but BLM was awsome | |

| Climbed via the Balsam Lake Mountain Trail. A short but difficult ascent due to the shushy snow on the trail to the summit. Great views from the firetower on top. | |
