Moose
The AT goes over it and so did I. Saw a HUGE Bull Moose next to the trail on the way. We both got quite the scare.

The Horn
Date Climbed: Jul 3, 2008
Climbed with Saddleback via the Appalachian Trail from Route 4. A fantastic hike with miles of trail traversing alpine terrain. Great views of the entire Rangeley-Stratton Region from The Horn's rocky summit.

I've been to the top more times than I care to count, but this is worth doing again and again.

AT over Saddleback
Date Climbed: Jul 17, 2008
Took the AT over Saddleback to Horn, then back, maybe 14-15 miles RT. Below the alpine zone, the AT was very muddy.
