| we made our way uo to Piz Buin on a perfect late summer day after a cold front. The summit block ascent was quite an adventure with all this snow and ice on the rocks. Reopening the track on Ochsentaler Ferner was quite an adventure, too, nearly all the crevasses were hidden under the fresh snow. But we had the summit for us alone - this was surely the best bit of this excellent day. | |
