| I noticed a lot of runners (err walkers) on the trail before I took off up the south ridge and found out that it was a 100 mile Endurance race. One guy told me he was on mile 88. I thought that was last week. Kudos to those folks (there were a lot of them) but I had a great hike on a nice day to the summit. I found one witness benchmark and no register so I left a register in a spot on the cairn (south side). No one on the peak itself but I encountered a lot of motorcyclists and some equestrians. The motorcycle guys were a bit befuddled by all the runners as it made their "fun" not so fun (trying to stay out of the runners way) | |

| Ok then, where are all the hikers? O, it's not accessable via one of the main canyons therefore it doesn't exist. Did peak 9851 as well. Pics and map at http://www.willhiteweb.com/index_219.htm | |
