| I think I summated this peak but I'm not sure. Nice solo day. I enjoyed the boot pack of others up until the last mile and then I was on my own in the bushes and thigh deep snow. I made it to the top of something but I'm not sure if it was Fosters. Will redo one night after work after the snow melts. The wilderness around the Ben Tyler trail is gorgeous. I found some interesting rock faces up to at least 200' that beg for first ascents! | |

| We headed out to summit South Twin Cone and grab Foster as a bonus. Unfortunately, nasty weather moved in unusually early in the morning and we had to abandon our attempt on South Twin Cone. We enjoyed a brief stay on the summit of Foster, where my camera crapped out, before retreating down the South Ben Tyler trail to outrun the storm. Partner: Elissa. | |
