SouthRakerRoute Climbed: North Ridge  Sucess!
Date Climbed: Jul 18, 2009

Fun climb up class 2,3 and maybe 4 terrain. I made my way up from the south side of Upper Lena Lake to the north ridge, up to the false summit, and across a fun, rocky, scrambler's ridge over to the summit. Too many low lying clouds and mist so I got zero views, but I did get to see my shadow on the mist when the sun broke through the clouds a couple times along the false summit - summit ridge which was unique. Fortunately the next day was much clearer and I got amazing views from Mt. Lena. Good trip.

bmwboarder7Class 2?  Sucess!

Definitely a beautiful climb. Milk lake was very serene, and there were no people to be found past the upper lena lake. There was definitely some exposure closer to the top, and a couple moves that I was a little sketched out about. Most of the people who signed the summit register seemed to think class 2 was a little underrated as well, but definitely still doable without ropes. My wife may have joined me on the summit if we had had some ropes though.
