| Wow, Just found this page. I have climbed this one several times. The Mount Margaret Backcountry is an amazing area. The amount of elk roaming around is impressive. | |

| Had always wanted to hike in this area to see the breach in St. Helens. Hiked up in morning fog, tagged Coldwater Peak, then over to Mt. Margaret. Ran into a bull elk on the way back. Tourons near the Observatory in the afternoon on the hike back. Heard lots of foreign languages that day. | |
