| Since my name is James I had wanted to do this peak for awhile. Its easy, and has some nice views. This is a good one to do when your short on time but want that feeling of accomplishment that comes from summiting (Malans is another good one) | |

| Hiked up James Peak on Memorial Day. The weather looked bad but I decided to try this one before it got even worse. There was still considerable snow on the peak. I did not see the summit register that Dean has in his photo. Everything was covered in snow. It was very cloudy and cold up there. | |

| The day before, MikerHiker and I were being blasted by wintry weather on top of the Wellsville Mountains Box Elder Peak. Today, I had calm, perfect sunny weather. Go figure. This is a nice summit and the views on a perfect day are perfect. | |
