| After checking out the route and topo info on Eccentric, I decided this one would be a great one to hit up on the way down from Eccentric Peak, adding to an already easy hike. It had been raining early on in the a.m., however the weather mellowed out just in time for a great trip up Eccentric and then on to Rose Peak. I ended up taking the steep west talus on Rose's west face back down to the forest below, then wandering back to the trailhead. This little summit gives a great view of the upper Whiterocks Drainage area. |
