| Climbed echo via the couloir on the east face. Certainly a thrill. My partner glissaded back down the couloir but I was too timid, and descended via the north ridge. A great mountain. | |

| Took my family up into the basin - it is absolutely georgeous! (and very popular! - lots of horses.) The hike up Echo is fun and easy- I love it when you can see the whole route laid out before you. A little too smoky to see the Tetons on this day. | |
