| Had to try again this week since I wasted too much time taking pictures to summit last week. Summited today! As always, the Sangres are amazing from the top of the Wet Mountains. Even better weather than last week. Tee shirt weather on the summit in January - hard to believe. Highly recommend this hike for the views of the Wet Mountain Valley, Sangres and Pikes Peak. | |

| Unbelievable hike for mid-January. Sun shining, low-fifties, and very little snow - only in Colorado's Arkansas Valley. I broke off the trail not far from Tanner Peak and summited several lower points to the northwest of Tanner. The views of Pikes Peak and the canyon country west of Canon City were amazing. The Sangres were partially visible. Spending too much of the day hiking these smaller outcroppings, I ran out of time and failed to summit Tanner. Maybe next time. | |

| Saw surprisingly few people on this peak! Beautiful (if breezy) spring day. Just one running and two kids on motorcycles until I ran into a group of teenagers at the very end. Views of the Sangres are obscene. | |
