Good page. My german was a bit rusty for the ridge description. Is this peak named for Roquefort cheese?

No, the name of the cheese doesn't have anything to do with the name of this mountain, since it's spelled completely differently .....

Roquefort and Rochefort have exactly the same meaning, that is "strong rock". Roquefort is a village whose name was given to the local cheese. There are limestone cliffs arround Roquefort.
