Hasn't voted | 14ers built a nice trail, but it appears that hikers mostly follow the road from Yankee Boy and then continue up the right side of the couloir, through dirt. If (after the registration post) they followed the trail, it would lead them up to the left side of couloir, with more rock, and less slipping-and-a-sliding. Just follow (the last sign) saying "Mt. Sneffels" and arrow pointing diagonally up to the right. Just, make that trail last and respect it. Not like the people on Thursday, July 20, '06, who took a poor dog, despite all barking and yelping all the way up to Sneffels, putting at risk everybody below them. |
