Voted 10/10 | Nice page, Bob. With 77 pics (before I added mine), it seems to be more popular than I would have imagined. It's got to be in the top 10 in terms of hits & pics for Washington mountains on Summitpost. Other: the peak's highest summit is triangulated at 7,986 ft. This was apparently surveyed for an old 30-minute map (see here). Not a big deal either way. | |

Hasn't voted | As of today it's 14th in hits in WA. Daniel's a nice climb, and centrally situated near I-90, so I guess it makes sense that it's a popular peak. It was great fun to return to Daniel after a 15-year absense back in October. | |

Hasn't voted | Hey, as a heads up to everyone, the road into the trailhead has a pretty nasty stream running over it right now. It was about 80 degrees and the water was around 20" deep running very quickly. A car cannot make it through. A larger truck w. alot of ground clearance might be able to, as long as you go fast enough to not get swept away. | |
