Nice page! It's a shame that I decided not to do Muir on my way down from Whitney--I'm not likely to go back just for Muir. At the time, however, the lure of cheeseburgers in Lone Pine (on day 16 of a JMT trip) was much stronger than the lure of the peak.

I'd agree with the class 3 for WT route, though people who aren't used to Sierra "friction holds" will find it a bit scarier.

I saw good beta on other web sources... here among other places.
