Voted 10/10 | Beautiful desscription, Gordon. Sometimes I read mountain pages and the prose leaves me really uninspired. But if they provide thorough infomration, I can't very well give them 3 stars and say, "Gee, your writing is really uninspiring." :) Your description makes me want to do some re-exploring of this area. I've heard first-hand that the high plateau SW of Kuna is quite nice, though I've never heard of anyone else going around here (except for Bob Akka, ski-dude). I think the only feasible crossing of Kuna Crest is at the col SW of Helen Lake. From there, I see an apparently easy col N of Lost Lakes. Lots of cross country and probably guaranteed to be solitary! -Morgan | |
