Hi Dirk,

great page!!

I would propose that you add still some things (you can copy it from my Aiguille de Triolet-page:

1. "Getting there": A description, how to reach the Chamonix-valley.

2. More Books and a precise bibliographic information concerning the "Guide Vallot". It would be great if you could find an internet-book-store where to order the book.

3. the needed map

4. train- and bus-infos

5. and according to the discussion, you wanted to change the title of the page to "Aiguille du Dru (Grand Dru/Petit Dru)" or something like that. That would be good, I think.

6. Maybe you could find a little bit more infos for the overview-section.

Regards, Rahel

I'll never forget reading the Walter Bonatti account of his solo of the southwest pillar. Nice page.

Do you know if the Charpoa hut has a room that is open for use when the hut is not manned by a guardian? I am planning to climb the drus in June and I see from the chamonix web page that the hut is not open until the beginning of July.

Great page, lots of useful info.

Initially a very good page, but is the maintainer still active?

There are a lot of info posted "off-site" which hasn't been included in the main text. No signature photo and loads of fantastic photos are not visible on the main site.

Some parts of Dru has collapsed and other things has happened in the area lately.

It's FOUR YEARS since the last update. Voting very low to help adoption, or to wake up the maintainer.
