Jean-Louis,

(7July2003) Excellent updates!

Richard, good updates with the new routes. When you add a little more detailed directions to the mountain, I'll updgrade the vote to 4 stars!

A good start, but more information is needed. Your target audience is not a local resident; it is someone who has never visited the area and might like to climb. This means describe the montain's background better, add trip reports and other relevant websites, etc.

Hi Richard,

good that you added this mountain. But I miss still the following important things:
  • a longer overview about the mountain
  • an overview about all routes in general (difficulty/length).
  • Where is the starting point? At a hut? Then please add a precise description of the approach to the hut
  • addresses, phone numbers and internet links concerning a hut (?), gite, the area, camping and mountain conditions
  • books, maps and links to bookstores

  • Regards, Rahel

    Please read my reply!

    hi Richard,

I changed the vote to 3 stars because of the book additions. But the link to cordee does not work. There is a mistake in it. Besides this: You did the wonderful Ben Navis page, you have still many suggestions concerning additions etc. written in my comment. So you know by yourself how to do it perfectly. But in the future, please finish your update completely before you reply to the comment.

I'm just waiting for a perfect page like the one on Ben Navis! Come on!

    Regards, Rahel

I can just second, what Rahel has already said:

More Info would be needed to find your way around there.

Look at one of Rahels pages to get an impression what can be done e.g. with links

    Thanks for taking some time,

    Ulli

Historic mountain in the Chablais between Geneva and Mt. Blanc. Climbable in a single day with a stop at the vinyards. Camping sites information is given and camping seems to be plentiful
