Voted 10/10 | "Staging area" is probably less formal and more appropriate, though not short enough or pretty. "base camp" or "trailhead" is not necessarily what this is. For example, Yosemite valley is one logistical center, but has many trailheads accessed by car. The "hut" idea is similar, but if there is no physical "hut" it would be misleading. | |
