Hi there, sorry for late reply. I guess most of the information you requested is posted on the site. Regarding public transportation and phone numbers, the best to do is get your Lonely Planet and read it. Believe me, the third world sounds complicated but things are easy. The best thing is to get there and ask. There is always an opportunity.

Regarding resources of the weather, I guess the best is your experience. The climbing season, June – August is the subtropical winter and is normally dry, so weather is often nice. Again, Bolivia is the third poorest country in Latin America, so is its whether forecasting agency. However, you can check a non-mountaineering forecast on http://www.bolivia.com/clima/ or in http://www.khainata.com/solobolivia/sp/s_clima.html or at http://www.wunderground.com/global/BO.html

If someone knows another resource for the weather in Bolivia let me know and I will post it.

    Hey, thanks for the comments!

    Juan

great page about a beautiful mountain! I didn't recognize it earlier because I know the mountain only as "Cerro Condoriri". I have been in the area in 1998 so I can post some photos time by time (not of the climb itself - "Cabeza de Condor" is far too difficult for me)
