Nice page, Shawn. Well written. I personally don't care whether a summit is "significant" or not. If you had a good experience on this little rock, then let us know! Everyone is looking for a good view.

At first I mistook Sentinel Dome for Sentinel ROck. The Rock has a variety of grade IV 5.11+ Yosemite CLassics!

Here is a topozone.com map which shows Sentinel DOme and the surrounding features.

I bet you could log a pretty good ski descent from Sentinel Dome down to Glacier Point.

Hi Shawn,

good page! I only miss a routes-overview (difficulty/length), some links/addresses/phone numbers concerning the area, lodging, camping, public tranportation, weather conditions and book titles.

Regards, Rahel
