good that you added this mountain-page! I only suggest that you add
  • the name of the next bigger city (maybe with an airport) near Silverton on the US route 550
  • some infos about the route(s?) and maybe the description from "Climbing Colorado's San Juan Mountains" by Robert F. Rosebrough you are mentioning (is it still avaiable somewhere?)
  • some links concerning infos about lodging and camping facilities in Silverton you are talking about and about public transportation
