dude i dig the page but could have used some more tips on how to find the parking turn-off (i know it's obvious once you get there) and how to find my way across that stupid creek (i've almost fallen in twice) and where to find that stupid trail... also some tips on where to bivy would be cool!
There's no turn off just a widening in the road around milemarker 166 near a sign that ppoints to Silverstar.
As far as crossing Early Winters creek it can be tricky. It changes from season to season. You will have to walk up and down the river bank until you find what you consider a suitable crossing.
Once aross the creek go to the immediaate East side of Burgundy creek which come down from Burgundy Col.
There are campsites on the bench at about 6,400 feet below the gully leading to the Col. The other option is to stay on the Col. There are a couple of small sites.
Now that you've taken over the page, Fred, you might consider renaming the peak to "Silver Star Mountain." Or, to distinguish it from Silver Star Mountain (Skamania), "Silver Star Mountain (Okanogan)."
