Nice page. It's always nice to find out about some of the closeby lesser known mountains next to the "giants". One question: what are "Blueway cartridges"? Is Blueway a brand or do you mean the Gaz blue-colored canisters?

The blue coloured cartidges. They used to be called blueway and it just kinda stuck. Good question. Cheers William

Bill, nice page. Did you and your group make it up Aconcagua? I think you were at the col when I was coming down and I missed you folks. How´d you enjoy those winds? Anyway, had a question - how´d you get the altitude for Ameghino? I´ve seen about 372 different listings of its height.

Thanks for the vote. It was nice meeting you. I got the altitude from an old map. Whether it is really accuate or not I cannot confirm. It was nice meeting you. Glad to see you took the time to do this one. Look forward to the photos. I was too tired to do both myself. Good job on the summit. Sorry I missed you on the return. Cheers Bill

Hey, congrats on your summit! Glad to hear your team pulled through to the top. Reason I was asking was that I thought Secor said something about Camp2 being at 19,250 or so, but it was obvious to me that Ameghino was quite a bit (150-250 feet?) higher than Camp2. So, who knows. Anyway, great to meet you and hopefully I'll catch you in the mountains again some time....

Hey William, nice page! But isn't it a summit biD instead of a summit biT ? :-)

Cheers,

Rick
