Nice page. Banner and Ritter and the surrounding area is without a doubt some of the finest the Sierra has to offer.

Good work. Very striking peak, especially from Ritter's summit. Both Ritter and Banner seem like talus slogs for the last 1000 feet or so, but the glacier approaches are sure scenic.

An interesting double-climb is to do both Banner and Ritter from the saddle. Most people probably do Banner first, then Ritter's north face, then descend the Ritter glacier. But you probably knew that already. ;)

Kudos goes out to the original page maintainer. Thanks for allowing me to adopt the page. I'll keep it updated the best I know how.

Crowded, red tape, or not, this looks like a fabulous place, with a good home here on SP!

Great page!

Where would be the easiest place to get a permit- Mammoth Ranger station? What is the reservation #? Thinking about doing this, Ritter, & SE face of Clyde Minaret in a long weekend- what do you think- good idea, or better to make a separate trip out of Clyde? (sorry for all the Qs!)

Thanks for doing such a good job on this one!

This is the first SP Californian mountain page on SP that made me want to drive to California. What a gorgeous mountain! Thank you.
