Doug, another big thumbs up for an adventuresome addition. Great work.

On topozone.com I looked up the lat/lon for Mount Bona, and I get

61.38556° N

-141.74861° E

For Churchill I get

61.41944° N

-141.71472° E

If you faked it and put

61.4° N

-141.73° E

in the lat/lon field, the topozone map would probably show both peaks at once.

Cheers,

Morgan

P.S.: Anxiously awaiting the trip report!

Alaska has SO much to offer to the mountaineer. I spent 2 summers there when I was younger (before I got into climbing). Great page - 4 stars!

Hi Diego

The Bona massif is pretty huge and unfortunately I was unable to get a shot from the air on our flight in or out. Hence no signature photo. As for other routes, information is pretty scarce. I do know of one other route but no details, so I opted not to include it.

Nice page.

The topozone link is as Morgan said to a point between the two points - however, the map automatically come up at 1:50,000 and neither peak shows. You must go to a 1:100,000 map to see both peaks.

I think that this page would be better as two separate pages.
