God page!. I would like that adds some information on the lodging in the area.

Greetings.

Fine page. Is this the highest elevation in Bourgogne? Did the Valois ducs d'Bourgogne encourage any climbing.? The Valois Charles VIII told Antoin de Ville to climb Mont Aiguille.

Nice to keep adding here. Enjoyed Le Bout de Monde.

When will you include Le Vieux Chateau?

The highest elevation in Bourgundy is Morvan Massif - about 900m high. Morvan is a nice mountain group made of granite and mostly covered by forests.

Les Ducs de Bourgogne in 15th century were THE BIGGEST ENNEMIES (with England) of french kings (Charles VII, and especialy Louis XI who wan the war against Burgundy and paid England for peace). Charles VIII was the sun of Louis XI . Valois country is not part of Burgundy. It's a small country situated 50 Km North of Paris, but Charles VIII was Born and dead (jung , he was 27 years old) in Amboise in Loire Valley.

He went in Lyon and in Embrun in 1490 (20 years old) and decided that Mont Aiguille has to be climbed. 4 years later he went to Rome with his army and imported back italian artists in Loire Valley.
