Great page Don! You beat me to it! But I faiiled to summit anyway, so it's just as well that you submitted it. We didn't give ourselves enough time back in June, so had to turn around short of the summit.

One correction however. There is a higher peak in the Pasayten, and it is slightly east of Robinson longitudinally - Mt. Lago, 8,745'.

Hey RFBolton, thanks for posting the nice pictures, I lacked some good ones. I am kind of an idiot when it comes to computers, so I was wondering how you get your pictures to look so clear? I have never been able to get them to look good. I take very good quality photos and have a nice camera, just don`t know how to make the computer work for me. HELP!!!

I guess I was not too clear on my wording. My line reads " highest most Eastern peak in the Pasayten", do you think that is misleading and if so any suggestions on how to reword it ?

Take care, don

Hmm, not sure how to word it. There is a higher peak that is slightly east of Robinson. How about "the second highest peak in the eastern Pasayten wilderness", or something like that. Jack Mountain is in the Pasayten if I'm not mistaken (will look it up later) and of course it's a "9er".

As for the photos, here's what I do. I have a consumer film scanner and I shoot slides. After scanning I do whatever is needed for color correction, then store it in the original high resolution of the scan (3504x2336 pixels). When I want to use the photo for something like SP I use Paint Shop Pro's smart resize feature to get it the size I want. Then I do a PSP sharpen to make it look sharp again since the resize leaves it a little fuzzy. I really like Paint Shop Pro for such purposes, but I prefer another program for the color corrections. I can't justify the bucks for Adobe Photoshop, and wouldn't have the patience to deal with it anyway! E-mail me at rfbolton@sprynet.com if you want to talk more about this.

Looking forward to lots more of your stuff.

My mistake Bob ! I was almost certain that it was farther east than Lago, so I got out my map and what do ya know I was wroong. Thanks again for the correction. I will try some of thaose things with my pictures when I have enough time, more than likely you will be hearing back from me though.

Nice page. Would be nice if you incorporated a Topozone map to the page. I may go up there later this week. I see you climbed it about two years ago this month. --Klenke
