Hasn't voted | You'll like it alot but I'd try to do it pretty soon before it gets too cold or too much snow falls (unless that is what you are looking for). It was about 20 degrees at night and the various streams and edges of Strawberry Lake are starting to ice up. It was really beautiful with the Fall colors though. I had a great time, one of the more scenic ones I've done. Thanks for your vote. | |

Hasn't voted | Thanks, Radek. Yeah, summer can't come soon enough but I'm glad we're getting some snow now so the water bills come August are not so high. Hoping to do some more eastern peaks this summer like Strawberry. Want to try to hit Cannon Mtn at the other end of the Strawberry Range, Fields and McClellan Peaks a bit west of there and also Yamsay down south. Let me know if you are ever interested, these will be on weekends when I don't have anything else planned. Also want to do Pueblo in April or May. | |

Voted 10/10 | Pueblo in April/May timeframe sounds good actually. The only catch is that we're taking this rock class on weekends so that most in April and some in May are taken up for us by field sessions. But I'm thinking that we could find a weekend that would work for all of us.....we could carpool it there (it's 400+miles each way if I remember right) so as to reduce the gas cost (which is pretty high right now!). Pueblo Peak's been on our list for a while and I think it makes for a nice early spring climb. We can talk about it again in early to mid April. | |
