Hasn't voted | The elevation you give, 5483 m, pertains to the second summit which is not usually climbed by trekkers. The first, easily reached summit is only 5357 m high but offers similarly good views. A common (and more genuine) alternative name is Gokyo Ri. See also http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gokyo_Ri The information in the "Political situation" section is meanwhile obsolete and should be removed to avoid confusion. | |
